Adventures in Daddy Daycare

Success!  My first week to work and Scott and Parker's week together could not have gone any smoother.  Although Scott may disagree about that considering his first night on Parker duty equaled little sleep and TWO dirty diapers within minutes of each other as I was getting ready for my first day (good job Parker!).  Sorry hun, but I couldn't help but giggle.  Parker just wanted to initiate you to daycare the right way ;)

If you're friends on Facebook, then you probably are already clued in on the many shenanigans (thanks Rachel!) that Scott put Parker through.
In case you missed them, here is a play by play of their week:

Tuesday - Scott and Parker headed to Valley West Mall.  Scott says he "needs" a new pair of shoes and jeans, I think he just wanted to show off his cute son to all of the others.  He did report back that he had several ladies swooning over Parker, which I totally understand.  I mean, how could you not love this little guy?!

As Scott stated, "Time for work!"  If in fact, cruising the mall is what you call work ;)
Wednesday - Lunch at Subway and Home Depot.  Pretty low-key day!

I don't even want to know what was on tv to cause this expression!

Thursday - Busy day for these guys!  First stop, go see Grandpa Nim at the job trailer.  Parker has not yet decided what he wants to be when he grows up, so it's always good to check out his options.  Then, a trip to yet another mall, Jordan Creek.  I think these boys like to shop!  Somehow, it turned into quite the field trip.  Who knew Scheels could double as an indoor zoo?!

Bundled up and ready to go for the day!  Parker looks a little concerned with the busy schedule.....

Grandpa Nim & Parker.  Guess he's more interested in his hands than work.

Friday - TGIF!  Thankfully, mommy works a short shift on Friday and this week it was from 8 am - 1pm. The three of us had a lunch date at Smokey D's (yum!) after I got off work.  I was definitely looking forward to spending time with my boys all morning long!

Bath time!  Gotta make sure I'm nice and clean for my date.  Daddy is teaching him already.

All in all, we had a great week.  Mom is learning a lot at her new job and the boys had some great bonding time.  Next week, Parker is looking forward to spending some time with Aunt Tina and Grandma & Grandpa Jensen!

  1. Yep-- shenanigans is the best way to describe it! :)

P.S. Maybe "Jersey Shore" was on TV when Parker has that wide-eyed expression on his face!
